Bio

Hi there! My name is Emma, I am the youngest of 3 and family is very important to me. During my free time in the summers I like to spend time with my friends at the lake or pool. I have been playing volleyball since I was about 5 and started with club when I turned 12. School and club volleyball have always been a huge part of my life, if I wasn’t in season I was finding camps to attend because I always needed something to do with volleyball. In high school I was a three sport athlete and I hold records for volleyball and basketball, and participated in state track. After high school I played volleyball for Central Community College, We made it to nationals both years where we placed in the top 10 out of over 100 teams. This will be my third season coaching club and I just completed my second season coaching middle school. I always knew I wanted to coach after I was done playing because I want to be part of the reason other girls to end up loving the sport as much as I have grown to love it. Throughout my years, I have had both good and bad coaches, I want girls to be able to walk away at the end of the season and feel accomplished and like they learned something useful. It is my goal to make sure everyone enjoys the sport and doesn’t have a coach that ruins it for them. I expect my players to give it their all every time they step on the court, during practice we are asking for a couple hours of their time and even though I like to have fun and mess around, it is also important that they walk away a stronger player than they were before. Although I am here as a volleyball coach it is important to me that the girls on my team feel comfortable enough to come to me with life’s challenges and that they learn new life skills along the way. I can’t wait to get started with the season and hope I can teach your daughter some new skills!!
