What to Expect at Tryouts

Pre-Registration

Tryouts for the 10U/11U - 14U players typically occur the first half of October for both our National & Regional Teams
Tryouts for the 15U-16U players is held the Sunday after Nebraska State Volleyball
Walk-Ins are welcome, but will need to go through the online registration process upon arriving at the courts and pay the registration fee

Check In will begin a half hour prior to tryouts, we suggest you are there at that time or before.
All players will need to check in and please wear your t-shirt to tryouts that you received at the pre-tryout clinics with the number on it. You will keep the same number during pre-tryouts clinics and tryouts. If you did not come to a pre-tryout clinic, no worries, we will give you a t-shirt with a number at tryouts!
Begin warming up on the court.
Parents will NOT be allowed to watch the tryouts, players (especially younger ones) can be more focused on Mom or Dad watching them vs. doing the drills and following instruction when parents are around.

All athletes will be evaluated during drills and the tryout process by Club Legacy coaches and placed on a team based on each players skills, ability to be coached, enthusiasm and need for that position on a team.

Coaches, the Club Director and the Leadership Team will meet after the tryout to confirm and finalize teams.
Athletes will be notified directly following the tryout after Coaches, the Club Director and the Leadership Team meet to confirm team placement.

Players and parents will need to accept or deny the offer to be on a team, out of respect for other players & teams, we allow 5 minutes for a decision to be made. Contracts will be available for signature and a non-refundable check deposit of $600 will be needed at that time to hold the players spot on the team.
