Hello – we would like to help one of our Legacy families help spread the word about Brain Tumor Awareness. On our 13 Alpha team we have a player, Ava Ledesma who is currently fighting a brain tumor. A shirt has been made in her honor to help promote brain cancer awareness and also as a fund raiser. Here is a little bit about Ava’s story that the family has shared….
On January 21, 2022, our daughter, Ava, was diagnosed with a brain tumor and was in immediate need of surgery. She spent 10 days in ICU and was released a few days from her 13th birthday. A few weeks later, she suffered a seizure in the middle of the night and was rushed to Children’s hospital where she underwent another brain surgery. Ava is currently going through 6 weeks of radiation treatment. She has a long road ahead of her but we know that through the power of prayer, our God can do amazing things!
Please pray that with God’s healing hand He may take this tumor and keep it away!
We have a link to purchase the #AvaStrong shirt attached & will keep the link open until April 17th to purchase the shirts at a cost of $20 each, shirts will be able to be picked up at the Mark on May 2. Any profit from the shirts will be given to the family.
